Our vision is:

To be an Integrated, empowered and self sustaining Eucharistic Community reaching out to all

And Our mission statement says that
"The Catholic Diocese of Kitui exists to witness Christ through evangelization to all and service to people in need in the process of bringing about the Kingdom of God."

We greatly value the work of our partner-organisations , and without them we could not deliver many of the services which we provide to our people. This is particularly so in the areas of education , provision of clean water , provision of medical and healthcare  services, especially in the context of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and of course food relief .

We cannot thank enough those donors who contribute to our partner organisations. Many of you visiting this site will already be aware of the astonishing generosity of people everywhere in responding to works of evangelization as well as crises such as drought, famine, and HIV/AIDS .

While the Diocese receives generous support from partner organisations  for specific relief operations, we find it difficult to adequately fund our day-to-day work of evangelisation  and to support our parishes,  priests and sisters. We would be grateful for any donations for these specific purposes.
