The Diocese has established partnerships, especially with Partner-organizations such as CAFOD, CRS, Trocaire, GOAL, World Council of Churches, WFP, CARITAS, Friends of Kitui (Dublin, Ireland), Swiss Lenten Fund, among others, who have been very supportive in partnering with the diocese to empower people of Kitui.
Also included in these partnerships are overseas dioceses and Parishes, as a vehicle to share common experiences of evangelization. The most notable ones include the Global Solidarity Partnership between the Catholic Diocese of Kitui and the Catholic Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis (follow the link below) , the parish partnerships between Bray (Dublin, Ireland) and Ikanga (kitui) (Follow the link below), Clogher and Dalkey (Dublin, Ireland) with, Ikanga Endau and Zombe Parishes etc.

The USAID supported APHIA II Eastern programme has partnered with the diocese’s HIV/ AIDS Programme for improved and expanded network of PREVENTION, TREATMENT CARE and SUPPORT. This is by providing direct nursing (Home-Based) care for 2000 home-based care (HBC) beneficiaries, and support for 4431 (2387 male; 2044 female) Orphaned and vulnerable children (OVC). Of these, 2750 OVC are directly supported in their education via paying their school levies, provision of school kits including books, and school uniforms.
In addition is enormous support for Pastoral Ministry from several church organizations including the Pontifical Missionary Society; Missio; Propagation of Faith, MIVA, Miserior, AMA, among others.
